Would you like to build, together, the mechanism that secures overwhelming freedom and compensation?
We work not because it’s working hours, but because it produces results. That is our motto.
Made-in-Japan system engineering delivers world-class quality. Our goal is to take that quality beyond Japan and serve clients globally in the future.
As IT engineers, we believe we can deliver value to customers anywhere in the world, from anywhere in the world.
What We Do

SES (System Engineering Services) is typically delivered as on-site staffing. We want to go beyond that model. Our core offering is non-resident, team-based engineering support, where the team — not an individual — participates in the project.
Japan and the world need excellent engineers. Getting there means changing how engineering is delivered: building a structure in which engineers can perform at their best and a path for career growth and skill development. INNOVACTORY is building that structure. Let’s build the mechanism that secures overwhelming freedom and compensation — together.
Why We Do It

IT projects generate a wide range of technical and business challenges every day. When engineers tackle these alone, we believe several distortions appear.
For example, every engineer has strengths and weaknesses. Work that plays to their strengths is efficient; work outside those strengths takes far more effort.
For example, career growth becomes difficult. Technology constantly evolves and new technologies appear every day, but the better an engineer is, the more the client values them — and the harder it becomes to release them. Moving to a new project or learning new skills becomes hard to do.
For example, a sense of belonging. As assignments on a single project get longer, engineers have fewer opportunities to talk with colleagues at their own company, and they start to lose a sense of who they actually work for. If they run into trouble, the connection to their own company is thin, and it becomes harder to ask for help.
Many engineers start to wonder whether there is any real point in staying with their current employer — a bad outcome for the company and for the person.
With all of this in mind, we offer our clients a team-based engineering contract rather than a one-engineer-per-month contract. Instead of being sent alone to an unfamiliar site, engineers work with colleagues they know — splitting tasks by strength and supporting each other when problems arise.
How We Do It

For clients who share this philosophy, we provide engineering as a team and work through tasks as a team. Work is distributed by strength and interest; when an engineer wants to try a new area, they can join a different team and take on that work.
Within the company, teams are flexibly rotated, and many members are involved in more than one project at a time.
We also minimise on-site work and use IT tools to support remote delivery. Members can work from home, from our office, from a rental workspace — anywhere. In the future, we plan to build a model that gives people freedom over their time as well.
What We Work On

We develop, operate, and maintain systems that support socially important services, and we provide technical support for launching new businesses. Most current projects are infrastructure-heavy, but we don’t limit ourselves by technology area — pursue what interests you.
Conditions vary by project, but most allow flexibility in hours and location, and engineers can be involved in more than one project. We work not because it’s working hours, but to produce results. That is our motto. Constraints vary by client, but as we continue to deliver results, our way of working is gradually being accepted.
